Common Questions

How long will it take for the insurance company to pay my bill?

Generally, it takes from 45 to 60 days to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please understand that insurance companies cannot be billed for missed appointments. To avoid your being charged you must give us 2 business days notice. Appointment reminder calls are made as a courtesy only, as it is the patient's responsibilty to remember the time and date of the appointment.

I received a notice that my insurance company has paid part of my bill -- but I can't understand how the payment amount was calculated. Do you know?

If we receive any information from your insurance company, we will be glad to share it with you. However, for answers to any questions about insurance payments, deductibles, or co-payments, please check with your insurance company.

How do you charge for reports?

Charges are based on the amount of time required to write the report.
